The Woodhill Community Co-op is a group of neighbors and friends who have been organizing together since 2019 to start a co-op. The group formed out of a need in the neighborhood for access to laundry services, as well as a collective interest in working together, community building, and entrepreneurship.
We have been growing together ever since to provide mutual aid in the neighborhood, hosting events like Free Laundry Days, Resource Fairs, and the Woodhill Community Co-Op Conference, while also working on our business plan and writing our bylaws with the help and guidance of Legal Aid Cleveland.
This fundraiser will contribute to the costs of purchasing a parcel of land in the Woodhill neighborhood, currently valued at $171,100. This land is where our group will be able to build the results of our collective planning; a cooperatively-owned laundromat, cafe, and community space.
