I'm raising money for my top surgery. I want to start my life new, at a new place and around new people after a lifetime of abuse and part of that is living as and becoming myself, for which I require top surgery.

I'm Icarus, an 18 year old trans guy. Originally from Germany, I am now staying in the US for a bit to escape the abuse I had to face for much of my life. A significant part of that is tied to my body and a major source of dysphoria in itself.
I was not previously allowed to be myself in any way, so now that I find myself in a safe and free environment where I am not controlled and have autonomy over my body, I want to take the first steps towards living as myself.
One of those - and probably the most important physical - steps, is top surgery. With that, not only would my dysphoria be eased significantly, but it would also help me to move past trauma and flashbacks at the sight of my body.
Since I do not have health insurance in the US (and even then I am not sure it would be covered) nor am I currently able to work anywhere due to years of abuse having left me disabled physically and especially mentally, I am setting up this Fundly in order to help me fund my dream of top surgery.
Even the smallest amount towards this goal is greatly appreciated and an unimaginable help.
