My 60-year-old friend Beth Carpenter has spent the last 26 years of her life in prison—she's done her time! Now it's time for her friends to raise the legal fees to BRING HER HOME!

Beth’s team of lawyers has been working tirelessly on her case, and there are encouraging new developments which could set her free. So I am fundraising for the attorney fees needed to make this happen.
Beth has been a model resident throughout her years at York Correctional Institution in Connecticut. Not only has she tutored and mentored so many others, and attended college courses to add to her doctorate--but she has spent the last six years getting certifications and becoming proficient at producing Braille books for blind students. She is number 89 in the country to pass the Braille formats certification out of over 30 thousand individuals. Beth is also the state representative for NEMETH (Braille for Math and Science), and has been offered a job in this field upon her release!
During Beth’s incarceration her dad passed away, and her mom currently has Alzheimer's with 1% cognitive function. And while one of her codefendants went home in 2018, and the other will soon be released, Beth is doing life in prison. She has done her time!
Please help set Beth free by donating to this fund. At age 60, after spending 26 years in prison, she has done her time—now let’s bring her home!
