Because white tigers are inbred animals, their species suffers from many internal as well as external deformities. Zuri is one of the unfortunate tigers that, though she looks fine on the outside, suffers from a very weak immune system. Zuri's previous owners had isolated her and ultimately decided to euthanize her because she was missing nearly all of the fur on her body. Noah's Ark was indeed able to rescue her and nurse her back to a better state of health. However, Zuri will always need their support, for her immune system will always remain weak.
