LULAC Youth Leadership Program provides at-risk Hispanic youth with a positive alternative to gangs, violence, and dropping out of school. Funds will support the program at Columbia Height Education Campus in DC.

Hi All,

Come get some yoga into your weekend routine while supporting some awesome young people in the Columbia Heights neighborhood. All donations will go to the LULAC Youth Leadership Program at Columbia Heights Education Campus (CHEC). 

Donate here, sign up on Facebook and join us on Sunday March 17th!

Class Details: Sunday March 17, 2019. Starts at 11:00 am. 60 minute all levels Flow - good for everyone from beginners to experienced yogis.  

What to bring: We will have the school's mats but feel free to bring your own. Water and a towel are a good idea too!

Location: Columbia Heights Education Campus (CHEC), 3101 16th St NW, Washington, DC 20010.

About the organizers: 

Jessika is a 9th grade Math Fluency teacher at CHEC and the leader of the LULAC Youth Leadership Program.

David is a 9th grade English as a Second Language teacher at CHEC.

Emmy is a new yoga teacher looking for ways to bring yoga to the community and connect DC residents with the public schools. She completed her 200 hour RYT from Mimi Rieger's Yoga Teacher Training program in January 2019.
