Hi! My dog, Xena, was recently diagnosed with diabetes, and her insulin & RX food is very expensive. I’ve recently been dx’d w/ serious health issues & money is becoming even tighter. Any assistance would be so loved. ❤️

Hi guys! Most of you know me in person, and some of you know me through online only. I’ve spent the majority of my working career helping others’ animals as a vet assistant in both an ER vet clinic and a General clinic. Recently, my old dog Xena was diagnosed with diabetes - a shock to the whole family. While her disease is able to be under control, her insulin is 81$ a vial (she goes through a vial in about a week) and she is prescribed a special kibble, which is $100 for a 27.5 lb bag. This does not include the vet visits, which are usually in the 100$ range. We have 2 other healthy dogs and a healthy cat that still need their own food, and all the animals still need their heartworm and flea/tick medication.
Recently, members of my household have been diagnosed with some serious health concerns. I, myself, have an ileostomy bag that the Army does not cover the supplies for, so we spend $500 every 2 months for the bare NECESSITIES for my chronic illness.
Any help for Xena is appreciated, even prayers, good vibes, and healing energy. I know I am asking much in a time where many people are struggling just as we are.
Thank you for reading, my friends.
