WRONG TURN RIGHT WAY MINISTRIES

I grew up in a community that was considered to be low-income. Along the way, I learned that the Police and Sherriff threw a label on us, and thought that anyone who came from where we was from were no good, and would wind up in jail. I have watched the injustice of the Police Department in my neighborhood for too long. You know when someone tells you you are not good enough over and over again, you eventually start to believe it. You slowly become what Society has labeled you. I started this Ministry in hopes to bring my community back together before it slips completely away. We should not be divided at a time like this. We need to make a statement and show them that we, as one, can come together without violence, and amount to everything they said we were never going to be. The funds that I will be raising will be to build a Youth Center in the Community that I was raised in to show the Youth that there is a better way. Just because they have already been judged by others, does not define who they are. My goal is to teach the Youth that they do not have to be on the streets selling drugs, or shooting each other, because that is exactly what the Police want to see from our side of town. It is time for change, and to rise above, to show this Generation that they are someone and they can make it out of this neighborhood no matter what people might tell them. These funds will not only be used for the building of the Youth Center, but also to help support the Single Parents as well. Our Organization will also hosts Monthly meetings to discuss how we can uplift our community, and help change it for the better. Every donation, big or small helps.
