The World Pianist Invitational (WPI) is hosting its premier international classical piano competition on July 12, 2014 at The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts - Terrace Theatre.  The World Pianist Invitational is an annual event.  The top classical young pianists (ages 6-29) from all over the world will compete for over $10,000 USD in cash scholarships and the significant honor of being personally invited to perform “live” at the world renowned Kennedy Center in Washington DC, USA.  The US State Department and all international embassies (cultural attachés) as well as the international music instructor community have been encouraged to invite young musician applicant competitors and credentialed music judges to participate in The Kennedy Center World Pianist Invitational competition.  Guidelines for this completion follow the high standards as set by the World Federation for International Music Competitions – Geneva, Switzerland.
