With a little help from my friends...

From Robert Pellizzaro

With a great deal of humility, I'm going to share something that happened to me.

Those of you who know or follow me probably are aware tha,t as well as playing music, I'm a self employed flooring contractor (3 man crew and myself). On Feb 7th, I received a cashier's check for $21k for materials after signing to do a large project. After cashing it, I drove to another project before heading to the vendor to purchase materials.I parked 40ft from the door to condo, hid the envelope of cash in the console, locked the car and ran in for a quick measurement.

When I came out, less than 5 min later, my window was busted and the $21k was gone. I had been stalked and followed from the bank. APD Report#195010639. The police and bank employees said illegal immigrant gangs stake out banks and this happens more than people know. But the show must go on.

Quitting was never an option, so my girlfriend and I pulled together everything we could. We have both tapped out every possible resource we have to pay for the materials and labor to complete this project. To keep my word, regardless of my misfortune... I must finish the job, but I have nothing left.

This is financially and emotionally devastating my life and the ones I love in painful ways, and I don't know what to do. I blame myself.I am a single dad financially responsible for my daughter and  two young sons, and no family members..not one.

So, Im turning to my friends for help. Pride set aside..shame and embarrassment on level 10..I humbly ask, If anyone could spare anything, even the amount of buying me a drink at the bar ;). If you are unable to contribute, sharing this would mean the world to us right now. I will be eternally grateful and will pay it forward with my work and music.

Love and laughter always
