There are still families living on the reservation in Black Mesa Arizona who are considered tresspassers on their own land. Families who have not signed the relocation act are being denied resources and need help.
I am an advocate for families living on HPL in Black Mesa Arizona. Families are seeking help obtaining resources so they can remain on their ancestoral homeland. These families are asking for resources to keep their families alive and well. They are being denied basic human rights everyday as their way of life is under extreme threat by Peabody Coal Mine & the current tribal government. This is the 2nd largest Native American relocation since the 'Long Walk'.
The supplies I am advocating for are specifically to help educate the children on the reservation & to make the elders way of life easier. Some of the current threats are sheep impoundments, lack of access to clean water, no electicity, undriveable roads, leaky ceilings & lack of other minimum standard resources for survival, dignity & well being.
