Dear friends!

I'm deeply touched by your generosity and kindness. I feel there is a unity in my community and it makes me stronger, the way I need and want to be in front of my family and community in Ukraine.

Let me tell you in few words the process here. Because when I personally support and help to raise funds, I'd like to know where my money goes to.

1. You donate and I receive
2. I send money directly to my mother in Ukraine in seconds
3. We connect to immediate needs groups or donate to people I know personally who has been asking for help

So far, all of us were able to help:

We helped to get bulletproof vests for friends who joined the Army.

We helped to buy medicaments for those in critical need.

Supplied an animal shelter with food and medicaments that doubled in numbers, when people were evacuating and were not able to take their pets with them.

Supported Ukrainian language volunteer based group, that helps all who decides to improve their language now and step out of speaking russian.

With a hand on my heart,

Life has completely changed for my family, me, and my country since February 24th, 2022, when Russia began a cruel, horrific invasion of Ukraine. Surreal conversations about bomb shelters, rockets, and loud sirens have become my everyday routine. The shock of it all is a traumatic dream—hard to believe that it is happening in 21st century Europe, but this is our reality.

My new regimen and reality starts with calling my family to check how the night went—and if they are alive. I feel blessed to hear my mom's voice and that the night was calm, and she was able to sleep a few hours. I check on friends with shaky hands.

The whole world knows that the Sunflower is a national flower of Ukraine. That we stand unarmed in front of tanks for our land, our families and freedom.

My goal here is to raise funds to provide financial support to my community in Ukraine to help them to stay as strong as they can be.

Money raised here will go directly to Ukrainian families. And simply to people who reach out to me for help, my friends and community in Ukraine. The needs are great: from diapers for babies in shelters, helmets for friends, food for animals that were rescued from bombed areas, for mothers and kids who are forced to leave homes—to help them feel safe. We all have to do our part, and this effort is direct and personal.

I’m a believer, and with your help we will get through this and smile at the sunflowers again.

I greatly appreciate your support.

Peace,

Nata
