We are in great need of funds to start the construction fo our new church and "special needs" daycare.

The Pyramid Highway expansion has forced us to move from our current location.

The Church and Daycare are receiving some funds later for rebuilding and relocaion but we need to have the new location built asap; since this relocation was forced on us, we have Zero funds available.  Our biggest concern is the "Special Needs" daycare which cannot be without an appropriate building or space from 1)  the date we will be forced out and 2) the time that the new building is available for occupancy.  Additionally, the church members won't have a place for service during this same period.  Finally, the Church and Daycare estimate that the funds being provided will not cover the entire amount that is needed for the construction of the new building.

The Lord of Mercy Lutheran Church was started in 1964 and has been a part of our community for 50 years.  The Lutheran Church Vision is to be active disciples of Christ, reaching out in Word and Deed.  We will serve as the hands of Christ to meet the needs of our community and the world.

We need to raise a minimum of $40,000.00 to start the building at the new location on Los Altos in Sparks, Nevada.  We would like the building constructed like a "community center"  to allow our members and non-members to use the building for different functions like weddings, family reunions, and social gatherings.  The everday use will be for the Daycare and Church.

The Church supports our communtiy constantly and the following list is an example of what we did before and will continue to do similar projects in the future:
