More Info

Among its potential, Minas de Oro has sites with mining history, fossil areas, natural recreation areas such as rivers, lagoons, and mountainous areas. Additionally, Minas de Oro has a cultural, historical, and educational history with great potential also for tourism.

Actually the project has already completed a first phase, which is the taking of professional photographs of all areas of interest, as well as the development of maps of urban settlements.

In this second stage, it is expected to finance the professional and logistical costs of the elaboration of the diagnostic document and tourism development model. This is expected to be built with the collaboration of a professional of Sustainable Tourism, a native of the municipality, specialized in Mexico, plus the accompaniment of key actors of the municipality.
