There is a challenge of clean and safe water for people in my community, people fetch consumption water from ponds, where animals drink from which has exposed them to diseases like dysentery, diarrhea, and many more.
Please support us to put up safe water wells for our community
As scouts we need to put up safe water wells for people in our community.
The need for USD 1500 is to facilitate and necessitate building up such protected wells from contamination. A good well protected water well costs up to 1,600 USD.
We would love to have the funds by 30th June 2021, since we shall be entering the heavy rain season so as we can do the well building before rains.
We shall use the funds to buy materials for the well, such as pipes, cement, stones, bricks, clay, marrum, wire mesh and transportation under supervision of Uganda scouts Association, and there after a report of what has been accomplished.
