Wally was a father, brother, poppy and great grand poppy to his family and was a friend to countless people. There was not a person that dad could not make smile or laugh. There also was not a joke that he couldn't tell, whether you wanted to hear it or not. From the time Dad was 8 years old, he taught himself how to play harmonica. He started out with a plastic one and in his later years had many hamonicas in many keys that he played around camp fires in the summer time and with his jam buddies on weekends. His grandchildren and great grandchildren have grown up knowing his love of the harmonica. Even his oldest grandchild, Zoe, called him Harmonica poppy. To honour his legacy and his love of music, the Noseworthy family has setup this fund where all donations will be made to MusiCounts.MusiCounts is Canada’s music education charity and is affiliated with CARAS and the JUNO Awards, whose vision is to ensure that all children and youth in Canada have access to music education. MusiCounts celebrates musical excellence and puts musical instruments into the hands of kids who need them the most. The Noseworthy family has requested that in lieu of gifts all donations be submitted to this very worthy cause.
