The Reily Foundation is a charity that works alongside families and their children who are involved in the child protection system. The Reily Foundation takes on roles such as advocacy and running group sessions, all with the aim to reach social justice. At the Reily Foundation, we are looking to expand our services to provide group parenting sessions for parents who have been impacted by the child protection system, helping them to build skills in parenting and learning to navigate the systems and services that they may use. We are also aiming to create a community space such as a garden, that allows people to take a break from issues they face daily and connect with others who may be going through the same experience.
The money that is raised from this walk will go towards facilitating these group sessions and will also put towards creating a community garden.
