This chapter, named in the honor of an outstanding AFA member and local community leader, is the oldest and largest chapter in Northern Virginia. Its membership is drawn from a large geographical area within northern Virginia and the metropolitan Washington DC area including the Pentagon and Bolling, AFB. Our members come from both military and civilian ranks - on active duty and retired, from the aerospace industry, businesses, schools and the community at large.
Due to health concerns amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing restrictions, this year's WACC is canceled. This year, WACC raised $2,955 prior to the event's postponement.
Contributions made to WACC support the Wounded Airman Program, and will continue to provide life-changing assistance to seriously wounded, ill, and injured Airmen and their families, one of the most vulnerable communities in this pandemic.
