More Info

The island of St Vincent is being ravaged by La Soufriere Volcano which began erupting on Friday April 9, 2021. Some 20,000 people have been evacuated from the north of the island by car, boat, van and foot. The entire island, and surrounding islands are being covered in dangerous volcanic ash, while boulders and rocks fall from the sky, and down the mountain taking out houses and damaging property. Earthquakes are being reported, breaking roadways and making evacuation more difficult. Water supplies have been cut off, and no knowing when it will come back.

I have arranged for the purchase and delivery of supplies to shelters and to those taking shelter in private homes all over the island via my friends and partners in this, Edson Reese, Kenrife Matthias, and 'Brooks', also, via my family, the Davis family of Georgetown- who are evacuee's themselves.

Nothing is too small, the people, many of whom live in poverty, are now without homes, food, drinking water, sanitary supplies and more. Every little bit helps.

**PLEASE NOTE** The credit card charge will show St Benedicts Nursery and childrens home due to a pervious fundraiser set up through this avenue. ALL FUNDS DONATED WILL GO SOLELY TO THOSE WHOM HAVE BEEN DISPLACED DUE TO THE ERUPTION AT LA SOUFRIERE!

No Refunds- please be sure you choose the correct amount. Thank you!!
