A large section of our perimeter wall was destroyed due to a government electrical project. This has seriously impacted the security and safety of the residents and staff. We are desperately in need of a new wall.
We are the Naivasha Children's Shelter located in Naivasha, Kenya. To learn more about our important mission of rescuing street-connected boys and returning them to their families and communities, check out our website at www.shelteryetu.org.
Due to the nature of our program, and the area in which we are located, it is of utmost importance that we restore security to our perimeter. This will ensure that we are protected from any unauthorized person or wild animals entering our campus, and also will ensure that our residents and animals cannot leave the premises without our knowledge. We have just rescued 25 boys from the street and this increases the urgency of this need.
This was an unexpected need, as the government project was not brought to our attention in ample time to raise and budget the funds for this year. We so appreciate any help you can give us to help us build a new wall.
All gifts will be tax-deductible through our US 501(c)(3), Friends of Naivasha Children's Shelter.
