Housing the homeless....

More Info

On May 1st I lost my apartment. I can’t see clients in-person because everyone is stuck at home. And while telehealth is a great option for individual adults, the majority of my caseload is hyperactive children and their families, so telephone or video-chat doesn’t really meet their treatment needs. As a self-employed independent contractor, I was able to apply for unemployment and also for several government loans, and I did receive a stimulus check. The unemployment and the loans are continually pending. In the meantime, my poor dog and I are living in the car and it’s been over 100 degrees this week. I’m beyond desperate and humiliated. If you’re in a position to help me, that’s fantastic but of course I realize we’re all struggling right now. If you know of someone who might be able to help me out, by all means please forward this along.
