Our goal is to continue to transform lives after Domestic Violence. By helping with financial help, survivors of domestic violence can then regain stability. eg. Clothing, food, school supplies, home and more
You would probably be shocked at just how prevalent domestic violence is, even in the most affluent communities. A staggering number of women, children, and even men suffer in our own backyards, and right under our noses.
Domestic violence is defined as any pattern of coercive, controlling behavior of one partner over another. One of the most harmful forms of domestic violence is called financial abuse, where abusers limit or prevent access to financial resources, like bank accounts and job opportunities. This is one of the main reasons victims stay in or returns to an abusive relationship.
Each October, Lets Go Purple unites non-profits and individuals in helping raise funds for life-changing services to help domestic violence survivors. Held during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, We are hosting a 31 day challenge. We have incentives and prizes for anyone that participate. FB: letsgopurple
