Registered Athletes participating in our United for Youth "Fight Gone Bad" workout at United Barbell will have the opportunity to sign up for a mini-session on-site with Dr. Natasha Barnes of Chiro-Medical Group.
Dr. Barnes is a climber and weightlifter, specializing in sports medicine. Sign-ups are limited and will be available during event check in.

On Saturday, November 8th, 2014, United for Youth participants will take on the classic "Fight Gone Bad" WOD at multiple CrossFit boxes within the Bay Area.  So far, the hosting gyms include:

United Barbell CrossFit SOMA

Flagship CrossFit

CrossFit Oakland (Uptown location)

Local CrossFit boxes are invited to participate at one of these gyms, or host the workout at their own box. Westside Athletes Association is asking participants to donate and raise funds in support of the event. Special gifts will be awarded for reaching certain levels of contribution.  For athletes competing at United Barbell, prizes will be awarded to the top 3 male and female scorers.  

Box Owners - send us an email with your "team name," and we'll create a Team page for you to hold your box's fundraising efforts!

Prizes:

  • Raise $50 - receive a United for Youth 2014 T-Shirt
  • Raise $500 - receive a United for Youth 2014 Hoodie
  • Top Fundraising Individual - prize TBA
  • For athletes participating at United Barbell, the top 3 male and female scorers will receive a goody bag (some good CrossFit swag!)

The Workout:

3 ROUNDS, 1 minute at each station, 1 min. rest between rounds

  • Wall Balls (20# men, 14# women)
  • Sumo Deadlift High Pulls (75# men, 55# women)
  • Box Jumps (20")
  • Push Press (75# men, 55# women)
  • Row (calories)

Score is total reps completed
