Our buddy Connor FM incurred 1300$ of emergency expenses in 1 week, w/o any help from his family, and he's struggling. I think it would be good for us as a cohort to show him that we're a key part of his support system.
Our buddy Connor was unexpectedly hit with 1300$ of emergency expenses, neither of which were his fault, and neither of which he's getting any familial assistance from. I think it would be nice for us as a cohort to show him that we can be a support system for him. I know money is tight and it's on all of our minds, but even five bucks a person would be a remarkable gesture for a group of unemployed bums like us. Please do not donate if it impacts your ability to pay for your own food/rent/living expenses. I have no expectation that we'll raise 1300$, but whatever we can muster will mean a lot to him. Please don't tell him about this fundraiser until we're done collecting the funds, it'll be a nice surprise and we can present it to him as a cohort late next week. If you have any questions/concerns/thoughts you can reach out to me anytime. Feel free to share the link with anyone in your life, but don't feel obligated to (i'm not even putting it on my facebook because I at times resent the ubiquitous crowdfunding sob stories that fill up my feed). Thank you in advance.
