More Info

Tucker is a 3 month old Samoyed puppy who was recently diagnosed with an ectopic ureter. One of Tucker’s ureters, the tubes connecting the bladder to the kidney, instead connects to his prostate/urethra. This has cause infections in both his bladder and kidneys. Currently on very strong antibiotics to clear the infection, Tucker will require surgery to connect his ureter to his bladder. Without the surgery, Tucker will continue to quickly get infections until kidney failure.

Tucker was unknowingly born with this condition and was treated for a UTI soon after joining our family. Due to his first symptoms appearing and being treated while in the waiting period of our insurance, this condition is considered preexisting and will not be covered by his health insurance. We have already spent thousands on Tucker’s medical bills and the surgery will cost thousands more.

We are asking for help to save this amazing puppies life. Anything will help and be greatly appreciated. Tucker has been a joy to everyone he’s met and it’s too soon for his little flame to go out.
