Hello! I'm a nursing student who's been given a very special opportunity to travel to Guatemala as part of my University's BSN Nursing Program. We are so excited to go and experience healthcare in another country all while advocating and providing education to the community and locals of the different areas we visit. One of our missions is to provide sanitary pads for women which will help them not miss school due to lack of access of women products. We want to make an impact so that women would feel empowered by their femininity rather than disadvantaged. Our university will also be doing a menstruation women's scholarship along with providing community teaching, working in foot clinics with the focus on diabetic teaching, and more. This will be the first year since COVID that our university has been given the opportunity to go back and help make an impact on the lives of those in Guatemala. I am so excited and eagerly awaiting this international student abroad trip that takes place on April 23rd, 2022.

With your help, I can be one of the nine nursing students who gets to be a part of this amazing, educational, and eye-opening opportunity as a future nurse. If any one of you would like to help contribute financially or through words of support, I would be beyond grateful. I am looking to raise $1,500 to cover all costs of this trip. All donations will be used directly for my travel and fee funds. However, if you are interested in donating to our fundraiser to stock up on supplies, such as sanitary pads for women, I would gladly point you in the right direction!

Thank you all SO much to everyone who took the time to read this. I appreciate every single one of you from the bottom of my heart!!!
