CASA for Children of Essex County 11th Annual Spin For a Child 

On Thursday, April 11th, CASA for Children of Essex County will hold their 11th Annual Spin For a Child event at D*Fit in Montclair, NJ. This wonderful event brings together energy, enthusiasm and concern for the most vulnerable, helpless and often forgotten children of our community: foster children.

CASA for Children of Essex County was established in 1986 to promote the welfare of children who have been removed from their homes because of abuse, neglect or abandonment by providing a safety net of support, advocacy and mentorship. Through our trained and supervised volunteer Advocates, we work towards our mission of to speak up for the best interests of these children in court, to ensure that each child has the opportunity to thrive by receiving needed services and assistance while helping to move the child towards a safe and permanent home.

Spin for a Child is an exciting and inspiring one-night indoor cycling and cocktail event to raise funds and awareness for the children. Participants enjoy one of two 45 minute instructor led spin classes, or a Fluidforce Bootcamp workout class, followed by complimentary reception with spirits and cocktail snacks.
