Tough Times

Eddie is the sole provider for our household. He works hard for both of us. He takes care of us, but mostly he works hard to take care of me. I have been unable to work for years due to medical reasons. I have a slow growing cyst inside my spinal cord that causes me lots of back and nerve pain. I have also been recently diagnosed with Small Fiber Poly Neuropathy, which causes nerve pain as well. So, my loving husband works really hard at his job and comes home to take care of me on my really bad days. He has recently been diagnosed with a severely herniated disc in his lower back, for which he will have surgery on Monday. He will be off work for at least 2 weeks, then probably physical therapy afterwards. He is not used to being down, and he has been down for quite some time now, so this has been pretty tough on both of us. Even though we aren't looking forward to the surgery, we are hoping that it will help with his pain and help get the feeling and use back in his leg.

 Barbara also has to have some dental work done that requires either a root canal or having her front tooth pulled and a partial placed. She also has two teeth that needs to be surgically removed and replaced with a partial as well. Luckily she is not in pain, but if her front tooth isn't taken care of soon, it will also have to be surgically removed. 

We are not used to having to ask for help, and we know that God will provide for us, however, we are in a tough situation and hope that we will not be judged.
