To Know Him & Make Him Known - Africa 2019

The summer of 2010 was a great one for me, that's the summer I received my call to Africa. Let's be real though, I was 16 and there was no way my parents would let me travel to another country at that age. But now at 24 (almost 25) years old, I still feel that stirring in my heart just as much as I did all those summers ago. Over the last 3 years I've dealt with some pretty traumatic events (to say the least) and I've walked through a lot of bad seasons. One thing, however, that's never changed is God's mercy and love for me. He has been so faithful in pulling me out of those dark places and restoring the purpose He's had for my life. Many people have also contributed to where I am now and I thank the Lord that they were put in my life. I'm thankful for healthy relationships, a job that I love and for the never ending grace I feel daily. 

Now it's my turn to give back. It's my turn to help pull other women who have walked in my shoes out of that same darkness and let them know that there is a God who loves them unconditionally. I want to help restore, heal, and love on those who need it. Jesus said to go into all the world and do these things in His name... Africa is my field. That's where I start. This is my go. 

I'll be traveling to Kenya with the missions team from my church, Cross Connection Church. We'll be there from the 12th-20th of August this year! I'm excited and I'm ready to minister along side some of my favorite people! Please consider partnering with me through donation and prayer as I prepare my heart for this trip.
