I need to raise funds to pay for Chemo related expenses. After 7 years of fighting and 8 major surgeries-a metastisis around my aorta has left me with Chemo as my only chance of survival. Please SHARE SHARE SHARE

Hi Dear Supporters :)
So....Hurdle number one of this Journey complete!
Medi-power-port inplanted under my skin.
Feels to me like I have been shot but getting more tolerable everyday. Last night I was able to shower and remove the bandages....thank god for Terry-the gauze was stuck from the sealant they used to close the wound-he patiently plucked away at the fibers one by one while I wimpered...not fun, but it looks to be healing REALLY well (I do have that on my side-I always heal fast)
Just sporting good old bandaids now :) I really only need two-but it feels better with a bunch so...why not? xoxoxo

I am a mother, an artist, an aquarist and I am a fighter. I am in the battle for my life against liposarcoma.
These funds will be used for travel/lodging/treatment expenses when going to Dartmouth for chemotherapy and what I believe will be some time of convalescence.
I have been battling cancer for seven years and I am still fighting. I have had eight major surgeries which took my left kidney, and my entire spleen. I have lost part of my pancreas, portions of my intestines, a rib, and have had several cancerous tumors throughout my body removed. From one surgery, I suffered significant nerve damage to the left side of my body- which leaves me with pain and loss of sensation throughout my left leg.
Liposarcoma is a cruel invader. The recent metastasis is life threatening-as it is encroaching on my aorta.
My options are painfully limited. After seeking a second opinion at Boston Mass General Hospital, my team believes my only hope is an intense 6 cycle round of AIM chemotherapy-to begin immediately. The hope is it will shrink the cancer enough to allow for another a major surgery to remove it.
I am unsure of what my needs will actually be and what condition I will be in throughout the medical process and afterwards. This is scary for all of us but I intend to win this fight for my family.

Now my insurance is saying they will not pay for a medication I need to augment the painful side effects of the chemo.
It’s cost $800 each time it’s administered- and I’ll need it 6 times.
I either cough up the dough myself or go without- which translates to more pain, suffering, stress and risk.
Unreal.
I am just shocked and shook that we live in a world where this can happen.
