Dear friends and family:
As many of you know I’ve been working as a Maintenance Assistant at Riverbend Retreat Center for the last five years. The current global health crisis has hit service industries extremely hard. Riverbend has been no exception. With the loss of revenue, we have had to find ways to cut costs and ensure every dollar is utilized to its maximum potential.
In an attempt to help mitigate costs, I am looking toward friends and family for financial support during this time. Riverbend’s mission is more vital now than ever before. As fear and uncertainty sweep across the world, Riverbend continues to provide a place of refuge where people have the opportunity to escape from that uncertainty and rely fully on God. Those men and women are then equipped to take the light of Christ to their families and communities during these troubling times.
While we have had fewer guests, there is still much work to do to prepare for summer camps and the retreat season beyond.
