8 out of 10 people have struggled with moderate to severe symptoms of anxiety and depression, since the onset the onset of Corona Virus Pandemic. Many of our client's are struggling with pushing through the heaviness of life and are having difficulties getting out of bed to go to work. We have seen an overwhelming increase in parents paralyzed with anxiety while learning to navigate distance learning. Also, we receive at least 3-5 calls a week of individuals desperate to save their struggling relationships. Urban Restoration Counseling Center provides mental health services to underprivileged and underserved communities of San Diego County. Your donation will help us reach our goal to provide over 500 hours of no cost therapy to individuals, couples, and families each month.
Since May 2020, we have served over 40 low-income clients, over 25 members of the LGBTQ+ community, and over 65 Black, Indigenous, people of color. During this time we have provided over 200 hours of therapy with just 5 therapists working part time.
In this moment, we are asking you to donate, at least, $60.00 to help provide 1 session of therapy to Urban Restoration Counseling Center and help us to foster a legacy of healing for generations to come.
