Update #5

WE DID IT.
With your help, Micah and Tianna are now full British Citizens with their registrations Certificates and Passports. This is such a blessing to them and us.
This marks the end of a long process… so excited for their futures and the doors these will open up for them. When we started the adoption process 15 years ago our goal was always to give them equality and the same opportunities in life as the rest of the family. Today we got there… Thank You for being part of it with us.

Our Story

For those of you who have been following our lives over the past years, you will know a little of our family. Our Move to Mexico, Meeting our 2 Adopted children and the whole 5 year process of adopting them. Then the years working through the issues of reactive attachment disorder, and the camps we attended and therapy we went through to promote their healing. We have 2 awesome children who are a joy to be around, and have been an integral part of the family and ministry.

Our goal when we adopted Micah & Tianna, was to give them the best possible chance of a successful and meaningful life with access to the most opportunities and choices possible. With this in mind, we want to start the final process of the adoption, to get them their British Citizenship. Over the last few years We have looked into all the options of naturalisation and re-adoption under British Law, and decided the only way to go is the route of "Registration as a British Citizen"

Would you consider being part of helping to give Micah & Tianna the best opportunities for their future.  We have a huge faith goal of raising $15,000 for the complete process. This breaks down to be:

  • Lawyers Fees - $2600 (£2000)
  • UK Visa Application Fees for both children - $3900 (£3000)
  • Official Translation of Piles of Mexican Paperwork - $3000
  • 2 Trips to the UK over the next year - $5500

We know this is a huge goal, but as always we are trusting God for his provision. If you would like to be part of this story in Micah & Tianna's lives, we really appreciate it. Any size donation is gratefully received. If you would like to make a donation offline or Tax efficiently, you can via our website www.thekemps.me.uk

THANK YOU SO MUCH for considering us.

Update #4

WE ARE NEARLY FINISHED
This week, we went to Mexico City for our appointment and received the News that Micah & Tianna are now legally British Citizens. It’s taken 2 years of work and waiting but on Tuesday they received their registration certificates. There is a few more steps for them to receive their passports but the bulk of the work is done. Thanks to everyone who walked with us, gave a donation to help or prayed for us. We appreciate and love all of you.

Update #3

WE ARE GETTING CLOSER

On Monday we head down to Mexico City for the next step in the Citizenship Process.

We’ve been waiting for and appointment with the UKVI Service in Mexico City for the past 8 weeks, but I received an email on Thursday asking us to appear there next Tuesday. So we have had to drop everything and buy flights to go down to Central Mexico next week.

Please be praying that all goes well, on this next step in the process. If all goes well, the next step will be bringing them to England next year to receive their papers.

Blessings

Tym & Sam

Update #2

Thanks you so much for your support towards our campaign for Micah & Tianna's British Application . After 10 months of paperwork, and translating documents, much longer than expected. We have finally entered all the papers to the British Home Office to await their decision. The application could take up to 6 months to process.

The next step will be to visit the British Consulate in Mexico City for and interview and biometrics. We will be then be invited to the UK to finalize the process.

Please keep us in your prayers, as decisions are made on the merit of the application and decided on a Case by Case basis. Prayer for favor as our application is processed.

Again thank you for your support and prayers for our family. We couldn't do this without you.

Much Love

Tym & Sam
