I'm really excited to announce that this year will mark the 5th anniversary of the Secret Santa Project! As you may know, this project aims to help children in need by delivering gift wrapped toys right before Christmas, in hopes of providing them a memorable holiday experience. This year we are teaming up with a wonderful organization called 'Mujer' in order to help us find and assist low income families. The project involves several stages. First we have to find families in need--that's where MUJER comes in. Then we kindly ask the sponsored families to provide us with wishlists from their kids, in order to get them things they need and would enjoy. We then allocate our fundraising to finding, buying and wrapping these toys. Finally, the most important part of this project is the gift wrapping process. We truly believe that the most impacting moment is the delivery and opening of the gifts; so, we try to do a really good job in wrapping the toys with lovely bows and ribbons to further add to the gift-receiving experience for these kids. As you can tell, all of this requires funds that we have to raise year in and year out. Luckily, we usually meet our quota with the help of our friends and families. This year we have 8 families, with a total of 27 children (as of now) ready with wishlists and names/ages. Our project allocates about $25 per child, for a total of roughly $675 needed to successfully complete this project. Would you be able to help us reach our goal this year?
