Your donation will help assist with legal paperwork, legal aid, and expenses for legal representation in pursuing his exoneration and freedom. It will also create a transition fund for when he is home.
In the summer of July 2020, I came across the story of a gentleman who was wrongfully convicted to 30 years of imprisonment. I began using my resources to create awareness to his case.
Pablo Velez Jr. was convicted of the 2004 murder of Emerson Bojorquez in Houston, Texas. His conviction was based solely on false and misleading testimony who had lied during the trial and now recanted. Including police officers who suppressed evidence. No physical evidence links Pablo Velez Jr. to the crime. During the trial, important evidence o Pablo's innocence was not presented. This included hidden eyewitness testimony, misleading witness testimony, and the failure of the defense to call either an alibi witness or the multiple witnesses who could have testified to the innocence of Pablo Velez Jr.
Over the years, evidence continues to point to the two individuals who remain free and were never questioned.
Pablo Velez Jr. was removed from the lives of his infant daughter, his mother and siblings. Most importantly his own life. That involved around driving an 18 wheeler across country, providing for his family. While incarcerated he has developed health issues, and continues to have faith that God will prevail in seeking justice on his behalf and grant him freedom.
We are seeking funds to continue the legal battle ahead and pursue avenues in continuing this fight for him. Any and all donations are appreciated more than you know.
