Our 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescues homeless and lost cats in San Mateo, Hillsborough, and Burlingame, California. We have them fixed, blood-tested, vaccinated, and microchipped.
We've been feeding community cats in the streets of north San Mateo since 2017. There were originally about 65 in the square mile area where we fed them, but now there are fewer than three dozen, due to re-locating them to happy homes, natural attrition, and because we have fixed virtually all of them. If we hadn't fixed them, there would have been over 300 cats now in that area.
We have rescued over 100 kittens and cats from San Mateo, Hillsborough, and Burlingame, finding them happy homes with compassionate caregivers wherever possible. The costs of having them fixed, blood-tested, vaccinated, and microchipped really adds up, not to mention trips to the vet for medical attention which can become very expensive. Feeding all these rescued kittens and cats, as well as the community cats in north San Mateo, also is costly.
We're always seeking new volunteers to join our group as feeders, fosterers, and ambassadors of goodwill toward felines!
