The WME Library Board
We need your help keeping our doors open.
The WME Library opened its doors June 8, 2015. We've grown since then, renting not one, but two classrooms in a former grade school in Edgewood, IL. We not only serve the village of Edgewood, but Watson, Mason, and outlying communities as well.
The vision for a library began in the wake of a small town tragedy and now serves, in my heart and the hearts of many others, as a symbol of hope, connection, and the magic of stories.
In addition to over 3,000 books and other media items, we offer free Wi-Fi and computer access, a cozy children's room with a special mural tribute in honor or Willow Long, family movie and craft events, summer reading programs, workshops, and more. Our vision for te future includes offering tutoring services, English as a second language classes, computer literacy programs, and other child and adult education classes and services.Your contribution will help us pay our monthly rent, purchase a book drop box, and buy books, media, and services that will help us better serve the communities we love.Thank you for your time and contribution!
