Unified Theatre Company is raising money for The Laramie Project which follows the true story of the murder of Matthew Sheppard, an openly gay University of Wyoming student in Laramie, Wyoming. This was deemed a hate crime and brought attention to the lack of hate crime laws around the country. This was life changing for the LGBTQ+ community and we want to continue to share this story with the world. We will be donating 20% of the proceeds from this show to LGBTQ+ communities including local pride organizations and The Matthew Sheppard foundation.
Money donated to this production will go towards funding the production. The budget for the show is $3,000. This covers royalties, scripts, space rental etc. and is listed below:
