CICAP is launching a new public information campaign beginning in January 2022 surrounding the new bill passed in California, AB506, that expands Mandated Reporting for all youth serving organizations. While the new law will help protect kids from physical and sexual abuse, there is currently no plan regarding the roll-out and providing aid in compliance to the new requirements. Without compliance, organizations will not be able to take advantage of this groundbreaking new law that would save childrens’ lives. CICAP wants to step in and fill the gap.
To make this possible, we are urging all individuals, business entities, trusts/foundations, and anyone else who wants to get involved to partner with CICAP to create a public information campaign that would immediately change the lives of children in need across the state of California. We are calling it “The HERO Project”.
Here are a couple of ways you can help us take one step closer to our goal of raising $250,000 for The HERO Project:
1: Make a 2021 tax-deductible contribution TODAY! www.icaprevent.org
2: Become a Corporate Sponsor! We have multiple sponsorship opportunities including media, PR, marketing, etc.
3: Provide a Donor Match- we would love to partner with you!
4: Learn more about The HERO Project, our organization, and spread the word on social media!
We thank you in advance for your support. Every donation takes us one step closer to achieving our goal of stopping child abuse in our home state of California! Please feel free to reach out to me personally with any questions at (858) 382-5694 or [email protected]
