Join us for the 11th Annual Global Mala on the Asbury Park Boardwalk.
We are raising funds and awareness for three incredible charities: Garden State Equality, KYDS, and Yoga Gives.
Registration will begin at 7 AM in the Asbury Park Yacht Club.
Meditation begins at 8 AM.
Our Sun Salutations will begin at 9 AM.
If you’ve never attended a Mala, here is what you need to know:
Our original inspiration was Shiva Rea, who created the first Global Mala in 2007. Her goal is and was to bring the global yoga community together from every continent, school, and approach to form a “mala around the earth”.
From there, we were – and continue to be – inspired by community. We come together to do 108 sun salutations (yes! 108!) to raise awareness and funds for charity, inspire connection, deepen our collective intention to serve, create some seriously good karma, and have an incredibly memorable yoga-marathon together.
Come and join us on September 12, 2020 on the Asbury Park Boardwalk.
Join in on the 2020 Global Mala as a yogi and/or a yogi supporter. Either way, you will be doing some MAJOR good for our incredible charities and the people they support. Garden State Equality, Yoga Gives, and KYDS - this one is for you!
