The Alzheimer's Family Support Center
Created By Caregivers For Caregivers Alzheimer's is a disease of the family, and by extension of the communities in which we live. The Alzheimer's Family Support Center provides free services to anyone on the Cape, from Bourne to Provincetown, currently living with Alzheimer's and other dementia-related diseases. By giving what we can, we can improve the quality of life not only for the 10,000 people on Cape Cod living with dementia disease, but for the nearly 30,000 caregivers who help them.
The Third Annual Cape Cod Walks the Walk in Provincetown is a fundraising event that draws together all facets of the Cape's community, including caregivers, people with cognitive diseases, families, kids, educators, professionals, and all those whose lives have been touched by AD/dementia.
Please encourage friends and family to join your team, or make a team of their own for this exciting fundraising event.
The most daring thing is to create stable communities in which the terrible disease of loneliness can be cured.
