That Dam Swim 2018 will take place on September 8, 2018 at Fontana Lake. We will be swimming, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding the length of Fontana Lake to raise money for The Hope Chest for Women.

Swimming & exercise is evidence based cancer prevention.
It is a way to give back to the local community.
They love a good challenge.
To honor loved ones who are breast cancer survivors
How do they do it?
With a whole lot of help from a team of volunteers, donors and support team.
They are motivated by the challenges cancer survivors overcome everyday battling cancer
They want to honor those who have been lost to this disease and swim in memory of loved ones.
Who will this years event benefit?
To benefit The Hope Chest for Women and the UNCA women's swimming team. The Hope Chest for Women is a local nonprofit in WNC that helps beast and gynecologic cancer patients.The Hope Chest for Women provides emotional, educational and financial support to women at risk or diagnosed with female specific cancers.
