The African-American Historical News Journal is a compilation of newspaper articles and firsthand accounts of our nation's history. What makes the content of ‘The Journal’ so important is that the information is not widely known, largely because it is not widely taught in our schools. Whether in the African-American community or the community at large, the information regarding the important impact of African-Americans to the founding of our country is a story all should know. If we don’t know the whole story, then we don’t know the real story of the founding of our country. If you don’t know the real story, then you don’t know the whole story. It is imperative that all of us, as Americans, know the entire story of the founding of our country.
The Texas African American Museum is a program under the auspice under Empowerment Community Development Corporation. The Texas African American Museum was established October 2016. The mission of the museum is to preserve African American History ranging from Tyler, Texas, the State of Texas and national.
