We're raising money to fund the upcoming workshop for "The Dew Collectors," a dance theatre piece written by Christopher Adams-Cohen, artistic directed by Nichole Fitch, and choreographed by Ethan Colangelo.
The Dew Collectors is a genre-defying dance theatre piece that follows the descent of a 19th century ballet company into the time-rending throes of genius and madness. With a new script by Christopher Adams-Cohen, artistic direction by visual artist Nichole Fitch, and choreography by award-winning Juilliard alum Ethan Colangelo, this uniquely interdisciplinary piece is now taking its first crucial step towards professional production.
In our upcoming September workshop, we will be working with our cast to engage the most pivotal sections of play, exploring the important physical and artistic challenges of a piece in which classical dance is closely interwoven with dramatic text. The four-day workshop will culminate in a showcase, and we will be filming the process and final run-through.
If the idea of this project inspires you, and you'd like to be a part of bringing it to life, please consider making a contribution. Whether your donation goes toward securing the workshop space, paying a dancer's salary, or sourcing a rehearsal corset, it is an invaluable part of the creation process. Whatever you are able to contribute, we are incredibly grateful, and look forward to sharing the continued growth of this exciting interdisciplinary project!
