What

We are raising money to support Glass Replacement following the recent explosions in Beirut, Lebanon.

Why

Another tragedy hit us humans.

You have seen the sad imagery of the explosions at the seaport and the impact of its massive expansion throughout Beirut, Lebanon.

People are hurt, the region is hurt.

One Lebanese friend sent us videos of her apartment destroyed; the family restaurant turned into dust. One more story among the millions' who are suffering.

She mentioned the shortage of window supply to repair the damage.

Friends from various countries related to the tragedy and decided to help by starting this fundraiser.

How

There are challenges of all sorts here: making, importing, distributing glass.

We are raising money and will wire it to a reliable destination in Beirut: XYZ.

All the money collected (minus transfer and platform fees) will be sent to "XYZ Fund".

Our giving tags are suggestive of the products and services involved in replacing glass. By the time we reach our funding goal, we might need to redistribute the total sum and allocate them accordingly to the needs of the people in Beirut. Once again, all the money will go to the aforementioned cause.

Who

We are friends with legal training in Brazil, Colombia, Lebanon, U.K. and U.S.

We are happy to provide you with relevant information about ourselves.

Disclaimers & Acknowledgement

We are aware of the difficulty of the cause. The seaport is ruined, the government resigned, the economics are not favorable.

Nonetheless, problems will not vanish. We need to act.

Pictures are not ours, we "borrowed" them from online sources, such as: Euronews, Installglass.com, Ebay.com, KLYOUM.com, IMLebanon, Bulgarian News Agency, Times of Israel, BNNBloomberg, Nabd.ws, Nidaa Al Watan, Al Ain News Portal, Lebanon 24, New York Times.
