For 6 years I have been enjoying our annual Young Ladies Tea Event with the City of Los Angeles, Recreation and Parks. I started having this event because of the communities which I have worked in. A great deal of problems are surrounding our parks and bad influences as well. The young ladies are circled by the prostitution on one of the main streets gang violence, domestic violence, human trafficking and the list goes on and on. Living in an urban impact area the youths are most of the time are refined in their homes whereas I can remember playing all over my neighborhood when I was much younger. Within the last seven years I had to strive to teach young ladies in various communities to enjoy your life while you are still young and playing dress up is one of the best ideas of having a themed tea event. Keeping it positive. I welcome all you which to help me improve this event making it a successful as well as fun and giving the youths a wonderful memory.
