Teddy Goes To Rehab!

From Liona Jae

This fundraiser goes toward the security of TeddyTupac’s rehab sessions. This is only the first step we need to accomplish in order to successfully get our boy the wheels he desires! We appreciate your love & support!

More Info

Teddy Tupac is an English Bulldog rescued from Road Dogs & Rescue. He was born incontinent with two paralyzed back legs due to a condition called Spina Bifida. As Teddy grew older, his back legs became more and more of a frustration to him, getting in the way of his mobility. In addition to that, he had begun to nibble on his foot, and once that begins it usually doesn’t stop (since they can’t feel it) — which leads to amputation as the best option. Teddy not only had one of his back legs amputated, but two and as extreme as that may sound, he is flourishing! With that said, it is now of major importance that, as he grows, his bones and joints remain intact, especially on his front end since that is now where he carries all of his weight. Teddy began his rehab sessions while he was under the care of Roadogs, and it is only right that he continues his sessions and eventually gets fitted for wheels to relieve pressure from his front end. This will also allow him to run around and go on walks like any other dog. Teddy’s journey is one of inspiration and proof that with faith, love and determination anything is possible. He is still in the midst of his puppyhood and has lots more to accomplish along the way as he lives his best life, but this is a very important part of his path as it is only the beginning!  For follow ups on Ted’s journey, please follow him on Instagram @TeddyTupac . After the funds are raised, we will happily document each session, so you can see exactly where your donations are going. A little can go a long way & we appreciate it more than words can tell! Thank you so much for your love and support!
