Ty was diagnosed with stage-4 stomach cancer about 4 months ago. He is a hard-working, loving husband, father, son, brother, & friend. He has completed a round of 8 treatments of chemo. Initially, chemo shrank all tumors. Since completing chemo, his stomach tumor has grown some.
Due to Covid-19, there have been additional stressors. Ty was supposed to start a clinical trial through John's Hopkins, but all trials have been suspended for now. His wife, Chari, was laid off her job. Ty's considered essential but has been put on an every-other-day schedule to reduce the amount of employees in his garage at once. He recently started a new chemo routine, with the goal of shrinking that tumor and keeping him stable until the trials are restarted.
Through all his treatments, he's continued to work and is doing his best to enjoy life and his family time. Since he does have to take days off to recover from chemo side-effects, this fund is to help pay whatever bills need to be paid to alleviate stress on Ty and his family. His main goal right now needs to be healing! Let's show him love, and support him in his fight!
