Team Kristen (age31) vs Lung Cancer

From Daniel Byerly II

My wife has recently been diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. She has been a superstar in regards to the surgery and recovery. I want to surprise her with a boxer puppy just can't do it on my own.

Update #2

Greetings all:
There is a good chance that I will be able to get a boxer for $500 through a co-worker. That is AWESOME!!!! I won't know for sure until around the end of the month.
I also wanted to reassure anyone out there that thinks this is too much to pay for a dog. I totally get and understand where you are coming from because I was once in that camp. It wasn't until I had my first boxer about 17 years ago that a boxer named Amber wiggled her way right into the center of my heart. (I know.... Awww how sweet.) Anyway, she helped me through, until now, one of the hardest times in my life. Then enter Rambo. If you don't know him you should. Lol! He is an awesome dog. Just look at the Rufferee outfit.
Basically, I know first hand that Amber and now Rambo are worth way more to me than $500 or $800 dollars.

Thanks for any assistance in this pursuit of a new family member.

Update #1

Update and Clarification:

Here are some links to Oreo : http://1drv.ms/1IS3vgy
Reba (who I never got up on the site!) was taken before I could get the deposit money of $250. I really think Oreo is a fabulous dog I just need to get to $250 fairly fast.

That being said, I might have given off the wrong impression.with my initial donation of $100. I just wanted to show people that I am willing to spend my own money.
Please DO NOT think that small donations won't matter.

SMALL DONATIONS MATTER!!!!!!

My fellow MSU student and friend commented on the financial crunch that lay on the horizon. I assured him that even a 2 or 5 dollar donation just might give us what we need.

FYI: the site makes money off of the donations
small price to pay for the free site.
