The evening of July 14th, Austin was rushed to the ER after experiencing a seizure in his home. The seizure led to a dislocated shoulder along with other extensive shoulder injuries. Since this event, Austin has been partaking in physical therapy and prepping for his upcoming shoulder surgery along with having gone through numerous MRIs and other test to find the cause of the seizure. Two weeks post seizure, Austin was diagnosed with a brain tumor on his front, left portion of this brain. Recently Austin has been meeting with a neurologist and neurosurgeon to plan the appropriate course of action going forward. His wife, Jamie, has had to stop traveling for work to be home to care for him and their two young children - Lane (3 years) and Rowan (18months). To help with medical costs, Austin's family and friends have banded together in support, including selling wristbands and taking freewill donations that will directly support Austin and his family in these times of need.
Thank you all who have visited this page and/or sent a donation. We are extremely humbled by all the love and support. All donations are going directly towards Austin's medical bills. Prayers are encouraged daily as we continue to navigate the path God has laid before us.
Just a quick update -
Austin will have surgery next week to restore some damage caused to his shoulder. He will also undergo a brain biopsy surgery the week of September 17th. This surgery will help his neuro team determine how to try and approach his tumor.
Thank you again for the love and support.
