I'm raising funds to help bridge the gap until we can start receiving long term disability payments. We are in between the end of short term disability and the start of long term disability and are seriously struggling.
My husband was rear ended while sitting at a red light. He sustained a concussion/mild TBI. He is unable to focus on screens, computer, TV etc. His ENTIRE career has been in the IT field and as an IT manager who uses a computer 100% of the time he is no longer able to do his job. He was placed on short term disability which equated to about 25% of his pay. We've completely exhausted our savings. I've applied for food stamps and was denied. We are now waiting for long term disability to kick in, which won't be for another 5 weeks (End of May).
The funds will be used to pay our utility bills, car gas, as well as purchasing groceries. We need more for our car payment $430, mortgage $1500 etc. but for now, electric, water, gas and food are the top priorities. ANY donation will help. If you have cash app you can send funds to $AniseMonroe or if you have PayPal send to Anise.Monroe@gmail.com.
Thank you soooooooo much. <3 <3 <3
Another thought! If you'd like to hire us rather than donate THAT would be awesome! I am a licensed real estate broker in NC & SC. I also do credit repair ($188 to sign up and $89/month). My husband is a FAA Part 107 licensed commercial drone pilot. He can fly outside AND inside. I've been trying to build up our businesses and it's been REALLY tough managing that, the household, and all of the doctor visits, insurance paperwork etc between him and our twin girls.
We were denied government assistance which I hated even having to apply for! We just really need help and go figure we were denied.
I'm so thankful that I've been able to lean on family to pay our health insurance premiums! We just need more help than they can provide and I've been struggling with being able to get a job since my husband is bothered by loud noises, lights etc. He's unable to watch our girls full time.
Thanks for reading my story. Sending you love!
